Hope River Church began in the summer of 2014 with a mission to grow as a community of Christ-followers. Together, we are continually learning about God and how to live meaningful, purpose-driven lives. We believe the Bible is God's guide for living well and preparing for eternity. Centered on the teachings of Jesus, everything we do flows from His example and message. As a non-denominational church affiliated with the Church of God, we welcome everyone to join us on this journey of faith and discovery.

GET hope | GROW in hope | GIVE hope
Hope River Church is a place where people can get hope in the middle of life's ups and downs. We believe Jesus is the source of that hope. As we grow in that hope, our goal is then to give that hope to the people in our community.
Hearts will be healed, hope will rise, and Jesus will be glorified!.png
 Scripture-Psalm 100:5 (NIV)
“For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
Devotional: “He’s Been So, So Good”
When life is going well, it’s easy to sing about the goodness of God. But Phil Wickham’s “So Good” reminds us that God’s goodness isn’t dependent on our circumstances—it’s constant, unchanging, and faithful even when we don’t understand the road we’re walking.
Every line of the song echoes a truth we see throughout Scripture: God’s nature is good. From the very beginning in Genesis, when He declared creation “good,” to the moment Jesus hung on the cross to redeem us, His goodness has always been pursuing us.
There are moments we can look back on and see His hand clearly—times when doors opened, healing came, or peace settled over our hearts. But there are also moments when His goodness doesn’t look like what we expected. Even then, He is still good. His goodness isn’t just in what He gives—it’s who He is.
Take a moment today to reflect on the countless ways He has been “so, so good” to you—through grace you didn’t deserve, strength you didn’t think you had, and the love that never gave up on you.
 Reflection Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your unchanging goodness. In every season—when life feels full and when it feels uncertain—You remain faithful. Help me to see Your goodness in the small things and to trust Your heart even when I can’t see Your hand. You have been so, so good to me. Amen.

Genesis 8:22 reminds us of the constancy and reliability of nature's rhythms. It says, "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease." This verse reflects the enduring cycles of the natural world, highlighting the predictable and dependable patterns of change that govern our lives. It encourages us to appreciate the order and stability that these cycles bring, reminding us that, despite the changes we experience, there is a lasting continuity in the world around us.
Amidst the ever-changing landscape of our lives, one constant remains: our Savior, Jesus Christ. In Him alone can we find true growth and steadfastness. Discover this enduring source of transformation and renewal at Hope River Church.
